CERN Library follows a common policy, set up by the Scientific Information Policy Board's Working Group for Acquisitions, for the acquisitions in the Central Library and the satellite libraries.

The Library also welcomes any gift of interest for our community. In particular old books out of print will be highly appreciated. If you wish to donate books to the CERN Library, please contact library.desk@cern.ch or phone at 72444.
