CERN Archive Committee

• The CERN archiving policy is entrusted to the Director-General of CERN.
• The Director-General usually delegates authority for decisions on archival matters to the Archive Sub-committee (formerly the Archive Committee), represented by its Chairman.
• The Archive Sub-committee is chaired by Gabriele Veneziano and meets periodically throughout the year to discuss current projects.  It is part of the Scientific Information Policy Board (SIPB).
• The CERN Archive Sub-committee operates with the help of Divisional Records Officers (DROs) who assist in the collection and management of archival material in their Division, Collaboration or area of activity at CERN.

Members of the Archive Sub-committee are:

• Bernd Pollermann
• Dietrich Schinzel
• Anita Hollier (CERN Archivist)

• The SIPB meets three times per year, and the Archive Sub-committee is represented there by Gabriele Veneziano and Anita Hollier.
